So, I am going hiking!?

Image
We decided to go to this place in Italy called Cinque Terre for my birthday. It already looks amazing on the photos that I have seen so far. But apparently, walking is the recommended way of exploring the beautiful villages - one that I can definitely do but not very good at. There is also a mention of about 90 minutes hike and all that. Well, my problem is I really haven't hiked in a very long time and I have no idea how will I manage it. For one, I am scared of heights and just the thought of it really makes me sick. But as I have always (wanted) to believe, the most beautiful and enjoyable things in life are sometimes the ones that I am really scared of, so sod it! I know this is gonna be worth it. Now, my other problem is what shoes to wear. I know right? Kind of stupid to be worrying about shoes but honestly, I don't have a clue what to wear. Maybe it's already out of fashion, but I am still glad that I was able to dress up the way I am most comfortable with  last weekend - plain white t-shirt and a pair of jeans. I have always looked up to those who can pull off a simple outfit like that as I was never really sure if I could because of my problems with my puson and bilbil . But now I know I can too. Haha. The jeans is not really the perfect fit. I don't know if I lost weight or it was another mistake. Speaking of ripped jeans, I remember when I was young I used to rip my own jeans using a blade or scissors. But now I don't have to. tintin x

I thought that I would not like it as there were no facilities, but I was wrong basically. If there was one trip that I would love to do over and over again apart from my trip to Santorini, it would be this one. Honestly, when we travel, we always book the cheapest flights and accommodations we can find. I would really love to travel a lot cheaper though, and I know that backpacking is my best option. But I honestly can't tell you at this moment if I am ready for it. It's there for consideration, but I need to think about it. After all, if some of the people I know could do it, then I could. But if you are looking for tips on how you can travel cheap in the Philippines, Asia, Europe or anywhere in the world, you can read these blogs which are also my favourites : We Are Sole Sisters , Pi
